Thought I saw a black squirrel tipped with snow out my back while watching the snowfall. Strange. But a closer look and saw the snow was really stripe. Came about one half hour ago. Then came back. Took off toward Richards. Came back. Left again. Beautiful and huge. Don't know if this is the same one or if two are taking turns. My porch light doesn't intimidate. And if he saw me he could care. Check footprints in the morning. I've smelled them all summer. And now some. Unless my imagination is filling in. Cedar dog would go wild. Skunk was looking for seed birds knocked from feeders and my spills. Did not stay long. Don't think I can stand much more excitement. Giving up the watch. Two plus inches of snow. Suppose it will melt tomorrow.
Good Friday gathering at the clubhouse. Good food. Good group.
The first Euchre Night at the Clubhouse was a lot of fun! Good snacks, hot competition, and many laughs. There is room for more next month! November 15 is the next Euchre Night at the Clubhouse.
Let's meet our neighbors at the Clubhouse on Friday, October 23 from 5 - 8 p.m. Bring an appetizer and your own beverage to relax, visit and get to know those, who like you, may be starting another phase of life.
