STRONG SALES IN 2014.  REAL ESTATE REBOUND CONTINUES AFTER RECESSION

The Business section of this past Sunday’s Record-Eagle featured a real estate article that sums up everything that has happened at Premier and the 5-county area.  Kim Pontius, Traverse Area Association of Realtors (TAAR) executive vice president, said “People are coming in from different places around the globe and buying a spot here.  Now instead of being (buying) huge, lakefront homes, they’re (buying) these nice condos being built in Traverse City.”  Pontius said most of the region’s real estate action comes from buyers already living in the region. Garage Door Tips:
  • Make sure your electronic sensors at the bottom of each track on your garage doors are lined up, if your door is not working properly. The sensors get bumped regularly by garbage cans, shoveling, or just moving items in and out of the garage.
  • If your remote does not open your garage door, you should have a small key that inserts into the lock on the front of the door. Pull cord through the lock to disengage the drive mechanism. The door should open manually.
  • Change your remote batteries yearly to improve the signal.

Charlie’s Friends

Charlie owns Fred and Char Hoxie. He loves to take walks with Fred and meet up with his friends (Wilson, Gunner, Arthur and Jet...to name a few) to play. He knows where his special treats are in Mom’s desk when he comes to the office to visit. He loves to play fetch with his rubber duck and his fuzzy skunk. Denta Stix are one of his favorite treats.

He would love to see pictures of his friends in the next newsletter. Please send a photo and a short bio of your dog or cat to become one of Charlie’s friends.
